Our Inner Sasquatch
Last year (2018), I was invited to paint a 38ft wall mural on the newly expanded floor at eBay Portland office. The challenge was to take the elements that are uniquely Portland and tell a visual story that expresses eBay’s five core cultural values. This was at a time when the prints from my PNW-inspired series, Things Unseen were extremely popular at my shop, so I decided to utilize Sasquatch and its sidekick pup, and place them in favorite Oregon locations, doing what Portlanders love to do in their free time. My dog, Nike, enthusiastically stood in as the sidekick, which made this exciting opportunity even more enjoyable.
